New website

14 May

We are in the final stages of the beta phase of our website. Our updated sermons are now found here and it is here where you will also find more information about our new church plant in east cobb.

Who are we?

26 Mar

We are a church plant called Sojourn who has been meeting in the private launch phase for the previous ten weeks. We are meeting on the Marietta Square and looking to plant in the east cobb county area.  These past five weeks and the following five – we at Sojourn – are focusing in on the question, “who are we?” We take this question seriously because to the measure that we are not explicit in the convictions of our values is to that measure that we will find our trajectory as a community off the intended target we wanted to ultimately hit as a church body. Therefore, we are dialing in on our vision statement: We exist to exalt Jesus by being a gospel centered, worship driven, disciple making community. We are trusting the Lord to make this real to each of us and to do in us and through us what is utterly disproportionate to who we are.

Sojourn sermons

27 Feb

We have finished our 6th week together as Sojourn. This has been a surreal experience for me as the Lord has been preparing Alex and I for this time for four years. It has been humbling to sit back and watch as the Lord has begun to unite our hearts with the vision the Lord has given us. I trust as we begin this journey that the Lord will do in us and through us what is utterly disproportionate to who we are.

I have attached the first 6 weeks of sermons on this wordpress site. They are rough and raw as we are recording from an iPhone 4s, but none the less, they work.
